Question by Nik: Finding out who 866 phone numbers are?
I am trying to find a local number for a place but can only find a 866 #. When I call I just get the run around. Is there a web site I can reverse search the number and fine a web site for the company? White pages doesn’t reverse search 800-866-888 #’s. And PLEASE don’t tell me My Intelius you have to pay for their services.

Okay I have a question. I could call Qwest but if somebody knows it would be easier.
Lets say I want to block 1 number forever. Say its 555-555-1212. Can I just block that one number? It shows up on my caller ID can I just block it, or have it automatically forwarded to some stupid number that doesnt work?
Problem is I get phone calls about 4 times a day from this number and its an incoming tone. I have tried to have the phone company reverse search it, put that line on the fax machine but I dont get a fax it just hangs up. Its annoying the hell out of me.

Thanks guys. Its called call rejection and I guess it was included in my package. It allows you to block up to 15 single numbers. But thanks for your answers. If anybody else reads this thats why I added it if it can help somebody. Here is qwests plan.
Answer by Roger you can solve your problem with the caller-ID manager in 1 minute after set up….its kinda pricey and it took me 6 month to make up my mind to buy it….and now I just love it!!
with most block features from your phone-provider they never let you block the numbers who are really bother you, but with this gizmo you can block all 800 877 900…I never had to much peace in my house!!

Alright so I’ve been getting calls from 443 564 8008…
I don’t wanna go hurt this little shit, but next time he calls maybe I can scare him off by giving him some of his own info. So is there a free way to track it? Most reverse phone searches are fairly expensive.
I understand, some people are gonna complain about morals and so on…
But it’s not like I mean the kid harm.

Answer by joe r its a t mobile cell phone… not much you can get from phone directories for cell phones… http://tnid.org/lookup/4435648008/ perhaps if you were to call tmobile you could try to get some info from them…

Answer by William I have tried searching for one, and I have yet to find one. I am not sure if their is one which exists.
I take it back, I don’t know about all numbers, but I just tried http://www.dexknows.com/ and I was able to find my name with reverse phone look-up. It might only be just where they have a phone book with a published phone number.
