I have been looking online for a reverse cell phone lookup service and came accross the reverse phone detective. Can anyone tell me if this service works on cell phones. I have tried to punch in a few cell numbers and they say they have information for some but not all numbers. If the number I type in comes up, they tell me where the phone is located, but only what state. If I want further information such as the phone owners name, then I have to pay. What I need to know is, will the reverse phone detective give me the information I am looking for. They say you can check land-line numbers as well, but I thought you could search land-line numbers for free anyway.

The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but as you say it is very hit and miss with numbers. Only listed cell phone numbers will be available. You should only use the reverse phone detective if you have checked to see if the information is available for your numbers. Check all numbers you want to reverse lookup before going any further. http://www.reversecellphonelook-ups.com. Reverse cell phone lookup services are ok to use as long as you check first. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.

I need to do a reverse phone look up for two numbers. Does anyone know of a service that’s cheap?

All the services I’ve seen online cost around $ 30 per search. Then all of them offer unlimited searches, but only one time report, so I’m guessing if I have two number I’ll have to pay $ 60
